Function
The PRI-90 receives signals from an external gamma radiation detector and continuously monitors radiation intensity passing through a process vessel. Changes in product level, density, or material presence affect the detected radiation level, allowing the instrument to provide accurate process measurement and control without direct contact with the process medium.
This technology is particularly effective for applications involving:
- High temperatures
- High pressures
- Abrasive materials
- Corrosive chemicals
- Dusty environments
- Large vessels and silos
- Opaque liquids and solids
Typical Applications
